Join us as we celebrate 150 years of growing disciples. The worship service will be filled with music, memories, and a look to the future. Former pastor Dr. Stephen Rummage will return to deliver our message.
After worship, stay for food and fellowship; please bring a covered dish.
The festivities start at 10am (no Sunday School this week.) We're expecting a record attendance, so please RSVP so we can plan for you!

Here's what's special about Homecoming 2026.
- Leave a Legacy. All offerings on this Sunday support The Legacy Project — our long-range vision for enhancing our facilities to grow disciples of Jesus. Each Sunday and Wednesday, more than 100 children, youth, and adults gather to learn about Jesus and are prepared to reach their neighbors with the gospel. Your gift will help us improve these facilities for generations to come. We have set an ambitious goal of $25,000 for this Sunday. Will you prayerfully consider giving?
- Leave a Memory. We want to collect memories from Cedar Rock friends! Leave a memory when you RSVP, or email us at CedarRockFBC@gmail.com.
- Different Date, Different Time. This year's Homecoming is Sunday Oct. 4. The service starts promptly at 10am, with the meal to follow. There is no Sunday School this day.
- Keepsakes. We will have some exclusive 150th anniversary keepsakes (coffee mugs, ornaments) available for suggested donations. These items will help you remember to pray for us as we continue to grow disciples of Jesus!

Our Guest Preacher:
Dr. Stephen Rummage
Dr. Stephen Rummage is the Executive Director-Treasurer of the Florida Baptist Convention. Stephen has pastored churches in Florida, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Louisiana. He received the Ph.D. in preaching at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and the M.Div. with a specialization in biblical languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served on the faculties of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also has authored several books and founded a daily nationwide broadcast ministry which aired from 2010 to 2024. Stephen and his wife, Michele, have one son and daughter-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter.
